Types of personal information we collect

To provide you the Cell Knight minutes tracking and alerting service, JinglePal LLC ("The Company") must collect the following information from you:

1. Your mobile number.
2. Your email.
3. Your wireless provider online account login id.
4. Your wireless provider online account password.

How do we use this personal information?

The Cell Knight Service ("The Service") uses this information to act as your agent to securely access your wireless provider online account on your behalf and check your minute usage and cycle end date (the date on which your allowed quota of minutes resets every month). Our automated software logs into the wireless provider online account using the login id and password provided by you and fetches the aformentioned information. No human ever logs into your provider account and no employee of The Company ever sees any information other than your minutes usage and cycle end date information.

The email address is used to send minutes usage alerts, summary emails, and other communication directly related to The Service. The mobile number is used to send text-message (aka SMS) alerts only if you choose to receive SMS alerts.
The Company reserves the right to send occasional marketing communication along with alerts and summary emails.

Safety and Security of personal information

Your personal information is kept extremely safe and secure. The Cell Knight website has industry standard security measures in place to prevent the loss, alteration or misuse of your personal information. All your information is behind at least two layers of Firewall protected by encrypted passwords. Further, multiple levels of strong encryption are used to protect your wireless provider online account credentials.
We take all reasonable steps to protect your information. Our automated sofware uses secure communication channels to log onto your wireless provider website. Emails are inherently insecure and therefore, we will not ask for information such as wireless provider password by email.

As an added safety measure and to further protect your privacy, Cell Knight does not ask for personally identifiable information such as your name or address. As such, there is no way to correlate who you are from mobile number and email address using the Cell Knight database.

Sharing of your personal information

The Company will not divulge your personal information (email addresses, telephone numbers, passwords, or usage history) to any third party unless you give the Company explicit and prior permission. The Company, however, reserves the right to disclose your personal information to the extent that it is required to do so by law, in connection with any legal proceedings or to defend its legal rights.
The Company may use impersonal non-identifying aggregated data for statistical purposes and for publishing on its website.

Third-party websites

The Cell Knight website and the email alerts we send you might contain links to other websites. When you click on such links, you go to another website. Please read the privacy policies of these websites as their privacy policies might differ from ours.

A cookie is a small data file that is sent to your computer when you first visit a website. Cookies are used by almost all modern websites. We use the cookies to hold certain information so that you don't have to re-enter information each time you access the Cell Knight website. We use cookies to provide personalized and customized services to you.

Changes to the Privacy Policy

If we make any changes to the Privacy Policy, we will post the changes at this site. If we decide to use your personal information in any way other than what we state in this Privacy Policy, we will notify you by way of this posting as well as by email.
